Toffee and Tea Rings (think Christmas gift giving)

They’re back! They were so popular that it has to happen again!

Carol Hill will teach how to make toffee. Almond toffee is a candy made of carmelized sugar and butter loaded with almonds and covered in dark chocolate. It is the homemade version of the heath bar and similar to the Colorado treat, Enstroms toffee. Carol has been making this Hill family tradition since a friend taught her in 1984. During this class she will be making a batch of toffee and pouring it over popcorn. You will see the whole process and get a recipe. She will have plenty of samples as well as 8 oz. gift boxed candy available to purchase.

Sue Pence will be teaching the cinnamon tea ring portion of the class. Sue says: Who can resist this decadent treat! Golden brown on the outside, tender and soft on the inside, laced with cinnamon, sugar and butter. Topped off with a white vanilla glaze or a gooey brown sugar and butter syrup.
